Mage_Freya presents The DEATMATCH
The official Deathmatch Tournament Rules by Mage_Freya.

Death Match Tournament Rules

5 Player teams any lvl between 5 and 15.

Teams must be of "mixed" classes.

Teams of guilded players do not need to be static. I.e. as long
as there are 5 players, guilds may field a different team in each
round of the event.
A team of players from the general mage community must remain the
same through out the event.

If a guild has two teams participating in the event, ie team A and
team B the teams may not share players in the same round of the
Tournament. As stated above guild teams do not need to be static
from round to round, and may field different teams in each round.

Game does not start until 55:00 minutes on the clock.
Upon entering the game all players will "swap" shrines and destroy
the other teams shrine.
Pools must NOT be biased during this time. A player will be
elected to destroy the third shrine. All players MUST be within
the "shrine pillars" of the opposite team before 55:00 on the
clock.

At 55:00 play begins with the objective to kill off all the other
teams players as soon as possible before your own players are
defeated.
When all players of the opposite team are dead the game is over.
If ,at the end of 60 minutes, players from both teams are still
alive, only the remaining players move on to "extra time" in a new
game until a result is reached.

When a player dies they must leave the game immediately.

The use of walls
As the object of the game is to kill the other team, walling
yourself into an area to avoid death for an extented* period without any effort to kill the other players will be considered
against the objective of the event and that guild will forfeit the
match. ( for instance walling yourself into your shrine and
constantly walling simply to avoid death )
Walls maybe be used to trap members of the opposite guild in a
room to kill them and to aid retreat and regrouping for attack.

* an extended period of time is defined as more than 3 minutes.

If the occasion arises when a team falls short of team members,
they have the right to forfeit the game to the opposing team or to
battle with a reduced team.

Arenas
The arenas used will be alternating from Catacombs in round one
to Cathedral in round two and so on.

Any extra time matches that occur will be played in Catacombs.

Please remember that all normal TOS and ROC rules apply unless
overruled by any of the above DM rules.
